STCDT is a dance-centric, theater-oriented performing arts company in collaboration with actors, dancers, musicians, poets, painters, and acrobats for a modern-day experience of the lovely and the eccentric.

We are a suburban Chicago dance theatre company that is growing quickly. We grow as we continue to captivate and train the advanced student & pre-professional dancer/actor in small group settings with a handful of talented and focused teachers.

Chicago based professional dancers and students; choreographers & dance companies selected for the Elgin Ties Dance Festival (co-founded by Sara Krikau) including: Annabella Gonzalez Dance Theater (NY), JKing Dance Company (NY), Chicago Human Rhythm Company, Tapmen Dance Company, Dance COLEctive, Project606 Dance, Same Planet Different World, independent choreographers- Susan Blair, Ginger Jensen, Christine Hands, & J.Lindsey Brown. Professional music of Chamber Music on the Fox, members of the Elgin Symphony Orchestra including Maestro Andrew Hilary Grams; musicians from CSO and the Chicago Lyric Opera.
2023 began a new collaboration with Marquee Youth Stage.
